Site : This vineyard is located on the commune of Volnay, famous for its great red wines among the best in the Côte de Beaune.

The Vintage 1998 : Harvest took place at the end of September after a late Summer. It was as a whole homogeneous. Aging in cask during 12 months.

Tasting : Ruby colour with purple tinges. Aromas of red fruit (mixed with spices and enhanced by a hint of vanilla. Complex, well-structured, concentrated on a melted tannic structure, good persistence.

Food pairing : Roasted, grilled or marinated red meat, games, classical cheeses.
