Site : On the slope of the village of Pommard, one of the most famous growth for Pinot Noir in the Côte de Beaune area.
The Vintage 2005 : Harvest took place in the early days of September after a dry and very hot summer after a superb growing season - long and cold winter followed by a rainy and humid spring. Exceptional weather conditions for an exceptional vintage. Full maturation of the grapes and good concentration. Aging in oak cask during 15 months
Tasting : Bright ruby colour. Intense aromas of red fruit (red currant, raspberry) and violet enhanced by a beautiful vanilla note. Concentrated, generous, with a lot of breed. Beautiful aromatic combination enhanced by a foursquare oak structure and tight tannins. Good persistence.
Food pairing : To be enjoyed with red or white meat , grilled or marinated, games.
