The Vintage 2001 : Harvest took place at the end of September after a late Summer. It was as a whole homogeneous but the "tri", sorting of the grapes was drastic to keep only the very ripe berries. Aging in cask during 12 months.
Tasting : Ruby red with purple tinges. Forthcoming aromas of red berry jam (cherry) supported by well integrated oak nuances. The wine has a good mouth-feel. It is forthcoming, well-balanced and has a well-integrated tannic structure. At the end of the palate, it reveals aromas of blackberries.
Food pairing : Enjoy with grilled steak and a wide selection of French cheeses, in particular Brie.
