Site : The area of production is located in the commune of Nuits Saint Georges, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits. The grapes are sourced from selected plots of vineyard South of the village, at the border of the "Premier Cru" area
The Vintage 2006 : The weather at the start of summer was quite demanding. However, the sun appeared at the end of August and continued throughout September. The harvest commenced in mid-September in perfect conditions. Aging in oak casks during 14 months
Tasting : Bright ruby colour. Very refreshing aromas of red berries mixed with liquorice. Outstanding vanilla note. Well-structured and generous. Elegant oak note. Well-defined tannins. Good persistence.
Food pairing : To be enjoyed with white or red meat, grilled or roasted, games and all sorts of cheeses especially all the cheeses produces in Burgundy (Epoisses, Langres, Citeaux, Ami du Chambertin
