Grape Variety : Gamay
Soil : Granite
Site : The area of production is located on the hills above the village of Villié-Morgon. Morgon is one of the 10 Beaujolais Crus.
The Vintage 2009 : After a cold winter and a beautiful spring, the hot summer was interrupted by stormy intervals which fortuitously took place when needed and thus facilitated growth and good maturation of the grapes. Harvest began early September with excellent weather conditions.
Tasting : Bright ruby colour. Aromas of fresh berries (cherry) mixed with liquorice. Well-structured and deep. Beautiful texture. Refined and well-crafted tannins. Long and generous aftertaste.
Food pairing : Cooked pork meat "Charcuterie", barbecue and all sorts of mild cheeses.
