Morgon 2004
Grape Variety : Gamay
Soil : Granite
Site : The area of production is located on the hills above the village of Villié-Morgon . Morgon is one of the 10 Beaujolais Crus.
The Vintage 2004 : Harvest took place at the end of September after a cool and humid Summer with short periods of very hot weather. The "tri", sorting of the grapes was drastic to keep only the very ripe and sound berries.
Tasting : Bright ruby colour. Very refreshing aromas of red berries (red-currant) and liquorice enhanced by a subtle spiciness. Well-structured, fresh and concentrated. Beautiful aromatic combination.
Food pairing : Cooked pork meat "Charcuterie", barbecue and all sorts of mild cheeses.
