Site : The area of production is located in the hamlet of Blagny, located at the top of the hill above the village of Puligny Montrachet. "Meursault Blagny" is a plot located on the upper part of the hill on the boundaries of the Puligny Montrachet Premiers Crus area.
The Vintage 2005 : Harvest took place in the early days of September after a dry and very hot summer after a superb growing season - long and cold winter followed by a rainy and humid spring. Exceptional weather conditions for an exceptional vintage. Full maturation of the grapes and good concentration. Aging in oak casks during 13 months.
Tasting : Bright gold colour. Delicate floral fragrances mixed with aromas of citrus fruit and honey enhanced by a touch of minerality and a beautiful vanilla note. Elegant, well-balanced and generous. Beautiful aromatic combination. Well-defined minerality and well-integrated oak note. Long aftertaste.
Food pairing : To be enjoyed with "foie gras", seafood, fish and goat's cheese.
