Le Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2004
Grape Variety : Pinot Noir
Soil : Cllay-limestone
Site : Grapes are exclusively sourced from select vineyards in the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits, including some plots of vineyards of Domaine Chanson.
The Vintage 2004 : Harvest took place at the end of September after a cool and humid Summer with short periods of very hot weather. The "tri", sorting of the grapes was drastic to keep only the very ripe and sound berries.
Tasting : Ruby red with purple tinges. Intense aromas of red berries enhanced by spicy nuances. It is lively with fine acidity. This wine is well-balanced, harmonious, concentrated, with a well-integrated tannin structure.
Food pairing : Super "everyday" Burgundy, ideal with braised and roasted meats, as well as meat-sauced pastas.
