Site : Givry is one of the most famous village in the heart of Côte chalonnaise in the Southern part of Burgundy
The Vintage 2003 : Exceptional due to a warm summer which incited an early harvest before the end of august. Low yields. Outstanding concentration and fully matured during the harvest.
Tasting : Ruby red with purple tinges. Floral perfume with aromas of jammed red berries (blackberry, raspberry) with a subtle wooded note. This wine is well-balanced, harmonious,generous, silky and has got a well-integrated tannic structure.
Food pairing : Cooked pork meats, pâté, pie, grilled or roasted meat, fowls and "fromages à pâte pressée".
