Tasting : Bright ruby colour. Intense aromas of liquorice and blackberry mixed with toasty nuances and a hint of coffee. Beautiful vanilla note. Generous and well-structured. Well-balanced and powerful. Good density and very pure fruit. Elegant oak note. Fine grained tannins very refreshing. Outstanding persistence.

Food pairing : It is perfectly matched with red meat grilled or en sauce and all cheeses, especially the local cheeses like Epoisses or Citeaux. Gold Medal Decanter World Wine Award 2008
