Site : The vineyards are located in the Hautes Côtes, West of the Côte de Beaune, on hills at an average height of 200-300 meters.
The Vintage 2011 : After a very cold winter and a very warm spring, the weather at the start of summer was quite demanding. It became fine again at the in the last days of August. The harvest commenced in mid-September in perfect conditions under a bright sunshine to harvest grapes fully ripe.
Tasting : Bright ruby colour. Aromas of red berries mixed with spices. Well-structured and well-balanced with rounded tannins. Lively with a good persistence.
Food pairing : Super "everyday" Burgundy, ideal with braised and roasted meats, as well as meat-sauced pastas.
