Bourgogne Aligoté 2008
Grape Variety : Aligoté
Soil : Mix of silt and chalk
Site : The area of production is located in the "departements" de Saône et Loire et de Côte d'Or.
The Vintage 2008 : After a beautiful spring, the weather at the start of summer was quite demanding. It became fine again from the end of August with much sun and a cold wind, which aided concentration of flavours. The harvest commenced in mid-September in perfect conditions under an Indian summer.
Tasting : Pale gold colour. Refreshing aromas of ferns and herbs enhanced by subtle minerality. Crisp, well-balanced and mineral with a well-shaped acidity.
Food pairing : Aperitif, mixed salad, and cooked pork meat "charcuteries".
