Bourgogne Aligoté 2006
Grape Variety : Aligoté
Soil : Mix of silt and chalk
Site : The area of production is located in the "departements" de Saône et Loire et de Côte d'Or.
The Vintage 2006 : The weather at the start of summer was quite demanding. However, the sun appeared at the end of August and continued throughout September. The harvest commenced in mid-September in perfect conditions. Careful selection of grapes in the vineyard and winery have produced beautiful white wines with fantastic acidity.
Tasting : Pale gold colour. Refreshing aromas of white flowers and herbs enhanced by subtle minerality. Crisp, well-balanced and mineral. Very refreshing.
Food pairing : Aperitif, mixed salad, and cooked pork meat "charcuteries".
