Site : In the heart of the Premier Cru vineyards of Domaine Chanson, this plot covers 4 hectares in the center of the Beaune territory.
The Vintage 2005 : Harvest took place in the early days of September after a dry and very hot summer after a superb growing season - long and cold winter followed by a rainy and humid spring. Exceptional weather conditions for an exceptional vintage. Full maturation of the grapes and good concentration. Aging in oak cask during 14 months
Tasting : Bright ruby with purple tinges. Intense aromas of red berries (raspberry ans red berry) mixed with pepper. Well-balanced, generous and dense. Elegant oak note and good layer of tannins. Long aftertaste.
Food pairing : Enjoy with red or white meat, "Boeuf Bourguignon" and variety of regional cheeses, in particular goat's cheese and Citeaux.
