Site : The area of production covers 39 villages in the Northern part of the Beaujolais region. Among all those villages are the famous 10 "Crus" of the Beaujolais : Moulin à Vent, Chiroubles, Régnié, Chenas, Saint Amour, Fleurie, Morgon, Brouilly, Côte de Brouilly et Julienas.
The Vintage 2013 : After a very cold Winter and a cool and humid Spring, the weather became really fine and warm end of July. The sunny weather and the warm temperatures engendered a slow ripening process of the grapes. The harvest commenced mid September under a bright sunshine. The combination of all those climatic factors and meticulous vinifications have produced wines with very pure aromas and a crunchy texture.
Tasting : Bright ruby colour with purple nuances. Intense aromas of fresh red berries (raspberry) mixed with spices Supple and generous. Crunchy texture with a refreshing fruit combination in the aftertaste mixed with spicy nuances.
Food pairing : Cooked pork meat "Charcuterie", regional meals and mild cheeses.
